About SG-III
How do I choose between SG-III and BEC6100?
Choose SG-III when you need edge-side rule evaluation, local interlocks or heavier data processing. Choose BEC6100 when you need reliable multi-protocol acquisition and uplink with a defined point count. The decision follows point-table size, protocol variety and on-site compute needs.
Is data lost during a network outage?
No. Data is buffered locally and backfilled when the link returns. How long it can buffer depends on sampling rate and point count, and is estimated against the actual point table during design.
